An update about ceremonies during the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak
Charlotte would like to express her condolences to anyone affected by the outbreak. This is a particularly difficult time for those directly impacted, and anyone else whose life plans have been altered by what is happening.
Funeral ceremonies are continuing to be conducted at this time, but in line with the government guidance issued, which include minimum distances between participants, and increased hygiene practices. In addition to this, each venue has implemented its own set of measures, which we are following carefully.
The governments of each nation of the United Kingdom have put in place the following restrictions:
England: Weddings can take place without a limit on guests from 21 June.
Wales: Weddings and civil partnerships are likely to be permitted in some approved venues, but we are awaiting an announcement from the Welsh Government.
Scotland: We are awaiting an announcement from the Scottish Government imminently. Under current regulations weddings can take place but the limit is five people (or six if an interpreter is required). For the latest information see the Scottish Government’s advice.
Northern Ireland: Weddings are permitted but guest limits are subject to a local risk assessment.

If you are planning to marry abroad, please keep following the latest updates, or get in touch.

Charlotte welcomes all enquiries during the current situation, but it may take a day before we can get back to you.
